A Malden staple! It's not super fancy, and there tons of locals, but how cool to see a younger crowd / which is different when I was growing up! The food is so good! Burgers are juicy and the salads are fresh. TONS of seating and close to other places in Malden center. Service is amazing, and it's pretty clean for what it is. I'm so happy this place is still open and doing well.
V is a wonderful bartender and is incredibly hospitable to her guests! Tuesday is Hugh's day. The touch tunes are also a nice touch
It's a staple, it's a favorite. The layout feels just like home with its warm woods, and the bartenders are superbly friendly. Good beers, and great food. Ok honestly I've only eaten the mozzarella sticks here but everytime I get them to share with friends we have to get extra because we devour them. If that's any indication of other foods in the menu, you'd be in great hands to eat here. It's a calmer pub feel in the area compared to some other bars around here, though I'm not usually out on the town late on a Saturday anymore so it may get rowdier.
Came for a whisky tasting night in March and they still had pumpkin beer on tap, so if you're into it, head there, they might still have it. The food was great -- as a vegetarian I was given a special meal (outside the buffet) of a salad with roasted cauliflower and it was real good and filling. Also tried the pretzel bites and cheese sauce which were perfect
Wow! I always pass by this place but now I've finally tried it! I understand why it's always busy! Super great vibes and atmosphere, servers were very polite. Steak Tip Nachos - 8/10 Already looked like a masterpiece, super loaded! Could use more cheese for sure, was a little dry. The steak tips were delicious but was a little dry and tough as well. Fish and Chips - 9/10 Beautifully crisp fried fish! Check out that golden brown crust! I love that the chips were thin and crispy, definitely one of the best dishes here! Super yummy! Clam chowder - 10/10 Could never go wrong with clam chowder, super flavorful and warms my heart. Cheese fries - 8/10 I needed this cheese on my nachos lol! Definitely what you expect from cheese fries, nothing special in particular. Overall, this is a nice American restaurant. Amazing atmosphere, great food and nice servers! I should come here more often!
